In our lesson today we were told some of the roles we would play for Arabian Nights:

• Sharazad- Daniella
• Dinarzad- Chloe
• Viezier- Arnold
• Sharayar- Bradley
• Ali Baba- David
• Ali Baba's wife- Laura
• Kasim- Jonny
• Kasin's wife- Teri
• Captain- Charlie
• Marianah- Cat
• Baba Mustafa- Bradley

(Cleary got this all wrong as i've just realised Bradders has two parts.. Soz)

We also started to stage the part where Sharazad indroduces the two brothers, Kasim and Ali Baba, and their wifes. The rest of the group act as the chours and position themselfs in two corners of the stage, appearing to be listening to Sharazads story. When Daniella gives the que, forest, the chours run to a space on stage, each carrying a stick, and bang the sticks on the floor when Daniella finishes talking. Acting as trees in the forest.
